Bye Bye Badman to return?

After an extended hiatus, is renowned indie rock band Bye Bye Badman (바이바이배드맨) finally making a return? The band posted a teaser video on their Instagram page just yesterday, leaving fans eagerly waiting to see what activities they might be up to in the near future.
Bye Bye Badman debuted in 2011 with a self-titled EP and continued with members Jeong Bonggil, Gwak Minhyuk, Luli Lee and Gooreum. The band won various awards, such as Rookie of the Year at the 2012 Korean Music Awards. And, well, it’s easy to see why. They have released many chill indie rock tunes perfect for a summer night drive, which made them one of the most popular bands on the Korean indie rock scene.
The band has been quiet since 2018 and the release of their last single, the tropical rock track Daisy. Since then, the members of the bands have gone on to be involved with various different projects, such as TRPP and The Volunteers, as well as various solo projects.
There are not many details about the form the return would take, but the band released a 5-second video that shows what looks like a guitar and some recording equipment. Does this mean new music is coming? The video can be found below.
The band’s return would be a welcome one, and It seems like new music might be in store for us soon!
